Question
What makes AquaCert’s chrome replacement filter different?
Answer
The chrome model is built for environments where durability and a premium finish matter. It delivers the same high-level ultrafiltration performance as the standard version, but with a more robust, stylish exterior ideal for commercial showers, gyms, hotels, and high-traffic facilities
Question
How does the filter protect shower users?
Answer
Inside the housing is a finely engineered membrane that physically blocks Legionella and other bacteria from passing through. That means water reaching the user is significantly safer, even if the wider system has temperature fluctuations or contamination hotspots.
Question
Will installing the filter affect my water pressure?
Answer
No. The filter is designed to sustain strong, comfortable water flow. Unless the cartridge is nearing the end of its lifespan or clogged with sediment, shower performance should feel completely normal.
Question
How often should I replace the chrome filter cartridge?
Answer
Most businesses replace cartridges every few months, depending on usage levels and water quality. If you notice reduced flow or your site has sediment-rich water, it’s best to change it sooner to maintain full protection
Question
Is it suitable for commercial and high-risk environments?
Answer
Absolutely. The chrome version is a popular choice for facilities where presentation and reliability matter, such as leisure centres, hotels, student accommodation, and landlords managing multiple units. It adds an extra layer of protection for residents, guests, and staff.
